St. Anton - Where should one live?
Heard this forum is one of the best forums when it comes to getting information and help on housing and living in the alps.

Me and 4 buddies are traveling to St. Anton this winter and wondering where we should live - we are looking for a cheap place where we might pay for seasonal housing.

How much should the price be and how much money should we have before traveling down.

We are planning on staying ther for 2-3 months starting in early january.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Hello you!
That's sure right..=)

I dont have answers for your questions, but one thing can I say, it's kind of expensive to live there. But otherwise, the skiing and the nightlife is "no words" - crazzy fun! .. I do have some friends, I think they were 6 guys. They were there this year, for 2 months.. And they made it very well, one of them - ithink worked as a pizzaman, and some other on an skirental place..

And they also said something about;
That the signed a contract with "somebody", that if they could prove that they had been working all season - they would get their money back (rent for the housing) .. ? hmm, but THAT I'm not really sure.
You should really check this up! If it wasn't for that i'm in school, I would absolutely do it!!

Good luck budy!

Hey

The best thing is to send an e-mai lto the tourist infrmation in St Anton, you can find the adress on www.stantonamarlberg.com They have list of rooms/houses to rent for the sesason. Normal price is 12-25e/night/person. Depending on location and standard.
If you wanna live a bit cheaper the best thing is to live in Pettneu whitch is 6km from st anton, takes app. 5-10min to get there with the skibuss (free)

Have a nice season!
