Regarding your question about what is usually done for team riders, it
seems to
vary actually.
An ideal team rider is one that helps you sell kites. This can happen in a
number of ways.
Sometimes, riders sell kites just because they are very good riders, but the
best team
riders are not only good riders, but can also spread the information on the
beach about
the gear, help fix problems, tell people where to go to buy Naish kites, let
people try the
new kites, etc.
Really this just depends on what you think will help you sell more kites. Is it
having a
team rider who wants to go train in Brazil for 6 months a year? Probably not
unless they
are VERY good, or spend the other 6 months helping you sell kites at home in
Sweden.
Long story short, you know what would work best in your market. Is it best to
give
someone who is at the beach every day extra kites so they can let people try
them? Is it
more valuable to have a rider that is better than everyone else? Is it a good
option to
sponsor a guy who "has the loudest voice at the beach"? All of these things
make up a
good team rider, and it is up to you which person that is.
In any case, I will do what I can to come up with a discount program for you for
a team
rider if you don't already have one.
Hope this helps and talk to you soon.
