Most softshell jackets can’t handle all conditions. But this one can. A real workhorse of a jacket, the Higgins is a three-layer blend of hardshell fabric and softshell lining. Meaning it’s light and breathable like a softshell, but watertight and tough like a hardshell. Turns out, the Rolling Stones were wrong, you can get what you want.
