Fitted with a sealed PHOTOCROMATIC/POLARIZED lens, 3-layer foam for superb fit, antifog coating, 100% UV-protection, ventilated frame, unique flexible side clips for optimal adjustments to helmets, 50 mm SILICONE strap, protective pouch included.
The Photocromatic lens turns darker or lighter, according to the strength of the sunlight. In weak sunlight it turns brown/yellow, providing a very good contrast. In strong sunlight it turns dark in an amber colour, to protect the strong light. Translucency runs from approx 30-10%, of the visible light. Filtercategory is between 2 and 3.
The lens is also adapted with a Polarized filter, to cut glare from the snow a sunny day. This combination makes this lens unique and one of the best on market, when on snow.
