It?s long been thought that building a lightweight ski meant sacrificing downhill performance. The Wayback 96 is here to shatter that stereotype. New this year, we?ve sandwiched a metal laminate layer in between reinforced top and bottom fiberglass to create the most versatile touring ski in the industry today. The topsheet of the ski is designed to shed snow to keep the haul light and quick on the ascent. The sintered base of the ski is ultra fast. And tip and tail grommets pair perfectly with K2?s precut climbing skins for super quick transitions.
