Over the past 4 years the Protest has grown to be one of our most popular models. Although the ski comes in at 128 cm underfoot, the Protest has gained a loyal following of skiers who praise its use as an all-conditions weapon.
The improvements made to the Protest last year make the ski quicker and more responsive when necessary yet allow its user to feel confident at high speeds on steeper terrain. With larger ‘fat’ points in the tip and tail, the ski can hold a smooth carve on firmer snow while giving the ski more sidecut-contact length. The recent improvements were well received last year thus keeping the 2013 Protest unchanged. With this year’s new customization options, this ski can be made to fit any skier perfectly. Basically, after customizing this ski with a hybrid carbon-fiberglass layup, which maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio, you’ll be ready to attack any snow condition found inside or outside the resort.
Freeskier Drew Tabke’s fingerprints are found throughout this ski and Praxis is always interested in the design ideas that come from such a well-rounded skier.
