From the biggest jumps in the park, dropping into “no fall zone” AK lines, to exploring the unbeaten path in splitboard mode, the new upgrades on the 19/20 Nitro Capital snowboard boot will provide fit, response, and performance you have always dreamed of.
The Capital was introduced last season as Nitro´s #1 performance boot, with its Internal Ankle Support, Power Tongue Stiffener, so this year the R&D department has taken the boot one step further with offering more customizable options and features to allow you to fine tune the performance of the Capital like the true ATV it is. The new Hike `N` Ride Construction, Adjustable Forward Lean, and Armored Spine allow you to take the Capital deep into the backcountry on your splitboard with ease, while also allowing for fine tuned performance all around the mountain. Don't worry, if you plan on getting extra gnarly and summiting some icy peaks with crampons than the new EVA Midsoles with Crampon Protection Zones are built for extra durability and will reduce wear and tear from the rigid crampons. The Air Dampening technology combined with Nitro´s Therminator Shield and THERM-IC® Heating option will keep your feet comfortable and warm no matter the conditions. Grip and tread durability has been equally advanced with the Vibram® Outsole made of Icetrek™ and Arctic Grip Vibram ® Compounds with D3O® Shock Absorption to allow you to summit the iciest of faces to get to the powder that is out of reach for most with ease. The progression of advanced boot technology is key to allowing riders to continue progressing their own riding, and with the Nitro Capital snowboard boot you are destined to reach new peaks and goals on and off the board.
